Hazel was a rescue I was lucky enough to get paper’s with. She is a doll and so needed a rest. When I got her she was 2 and had already had 19 puppies in three litters. She was rail thin to the point you could see every vertebrae in her spine from a distance. She made her self to home and ate and ate. She was one you had to watch or she’d be on the dinning room table getting her own leftovers. She did get over that and turned into the perfect lady. She is now 8 years old and retired. She had many nice puppies for us but only one litter per year or less. Two years ago she was injured and was paralyzed for about 4 months, she now walks but I had her spayed right away so she wouldn't’t have anymore pups. We love her dearly and want her live out her years with our family. We have only one of her daughters, Cassie whom we rescued at the same time.
